Five Ways to Support My Parish Priest
Pope Benedict XVI has declared June 2009 – June 2010 as the Year for Priests. The purpose is to encourage what the Pope calls “the yearning for spiritual perfection” in priests. Additionally it gives lay people an opportunity to learn more about priesthood, to recognize and honor priests and encourages priestly vocations. Please pick up a brochure at the door of the church to find out how you can support your parish priests during this coming year.
The Hospitality Committee needs volunteers to help set-up and serve coffee and donuts after the 10:00AM Sunday Mass. This is a VERY easy way to help your parish and meet your faith family members. For additional information or to sign-up as a volunteer, please contact Lee Nordlund at 707-477-1403 or drop by the hospitality table after 10:00 Mass.
FAITH IN THE VALLEY BOOKS
Our commemorative books are still available and Now only $5.00; all proceeds are to benefit the Youth Ministry Groups at your Parish.
ENGLISH BAPTISM PREP CLASS
Are held on the fourth (4th) Monday of every Month at 7pm in the second floor of the Rectory conference room (960 Caymus St.). Classes are one hour long and require for both parents and godparents to attend. Call 226-9379 ext. 10 for more information.
FOOD BANK BARREL
Hunger is always a presence for many in our community. Please contribute a helping hand to those in need by bringing non-perishable food items in the barrels by the Narthex in the Church. The Napa Valley Food Bank will appreciate all the help you can offer.
